Week Six

Another great week down!!! 
Again, worked out 6 times cardio and 3 times weights.  I seem to have developed a great habit for the working out aspect.  I continue to make good eating choices, but is still an effort needed to write down everything that you eat, I would have thought that would have gotten easier, but is a little challenge to remember to do it.
I'm excited for final assessment time to see accomplishments in numbers!!!

Week Five

Yay!!!  Another great week!!!  Worked out 6 times cardio and 3 times weights.  Again, felt super wonderful!!! 
I still record meals and snacks and also workouts.  I have to admit, it gets kinda hard to record each and everything that you eat.  Guess have to take the time to write it all down. 
 
Have a great week everyone!!!  Couple more weeks of the "challenge" left, then the "healthy" habit should be installed!!!

Week Four

Yay!!!  What a great week!!!  Worked out 6 times cardio and 3 times weights.  Felt wonderful!!! 
 
Happy to report that I only ate out 1 time this past week, McDonalds, but I had the "oatmeal" with apples, raisons, and cranberries and no brown sugar.  It tasted great, my son did an awesome job at his wrestling tournament so he got to pick where he wanted to eat.  
 
I continue to record meals and snacks and also workouts, makes you accountable to see at the end of the week how well you accomplished your goals that you set for yourself!!!  Have a wonderful week everyone, keep plugging away--we can do it together!!!

Week Three

STILL no soda-pop in the 6 week challenge..So far so good!!!  This past week, I felt like I was so hungry all week and eating non-stop.  Did record everything that I ate and looking back on the week, wasn't that bad, but did eat out for 5 of the 21 meals in the week.  I think that's why I felf like I was eating non-stop.  Should be a much slower week this week so will be eating at home.  Yay!!!
 
I accomplished last weeks work out goals of 5 cardio and 3 weights, so, again work out goals for the upcoming week--work out cardio wise 5 times, and weights 3 times.  Pretty easy to do for me, as long as I remember to take the time to do it!!!

Week Two

no soda-pop in the 6 week challenge..I did it!!!  Had NO POP in the last week and a half.  Only 2 times I thought about popping open a diet coke, but thought, nope, gave that up.  Also went to a baby shower last weekend where they served punch.  I refrained from the punch, knowing it was made with pop.  Yay me!!!

I accomplished last weeks work out goals of 5 cardio and 3 weights, so, again work out goals for the upcoming week--work out cardio wise 5 times, and weights 3 times. 
 
A few people have been coming up to me and saying, "you're on the challenge, how's it going", I say yes I am and it's going great!!!  Then they comment, keep it up!!! 

Week One

A new goal I'm adding, "no soda-pop in the 6 week challenge.
I ran out of pop at home on Thursday, so 3 days no pop so far, pretty good start!!!
 
Nutritionist Dorie told me that I need to add in more fruits and also calcium to my diet, otherwise pretty good at making healthy food choices!!!  That was exciting to hear.
 
Workout goals for the upcoming week--work out cardio wise 5 times, and weights 3 times.
